MercuryCode Reference Design
The EBV MercuryCode reference design platform is based on the Altera® Cyclone® III FPGA technology and is dedicated to industrial communications. The board is designed specifically for the use of the Nios® II processor and the Microsoft .NET Framework supporting a number of industrial I/O standards such as CAN, RS485, RS232 and 24 V I/O for direct connection to the industrial automation world.
MercuryCode features an Altera EP3C40 device and is equipped with several I/O transceivers, an LVDS interface for direct TFT connection, a navigation key, buttons, LEDs and a 2 digit seven segment display. Several IP-Cores are delivered with the board like Ethernet MAC and CAN Controller (Eval). The board is also available with a USB-Blaster™ and NIOS II license (Part No.: DBC3C40IPN-USBB;20) and in a third version with a 8.4” TFT display (DBC3C40TFTSVGA;20).
