The L6563 is a current-mode PFC controller operating in Transition Mode (TM). The highly linear multiplier allows wide-range mains operation with an extremely low THD even over a large load range. The device features low consumption (≤ 90 μA before start-up and ≤ 5 mA running). Typical application examples include telecom and industrial SMPS, AC/DC adapters, open frame SMPS and LCD TVs. A
